On the 19th March and 20th March, a delivery of 20,000 trees arrived at the new Center Parcs; Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire. The planting of the trees will be overseen by the new Ground Services Manager; Ian Buck from Goldington, Bedford and will help improve the biodiversity of the forest.

Every spring Center Parcs Rangers patrol roads and paths with buckets looking for toads. Between February and April toads migrate back to their ancestral breeding ponds and at Center Parcs, it is no different. Thousands of toads can be seen crossing roads, paths and other areas of the forests.

As part of the British Trust for Ornithology’s (BTO) National Nest Box Week from 14th February 2011, Center Parcs wants to encourage families to provide homes for birds at this time of year and help bring the music of bird song into gardens across the country.
